Three Expert MDs Weigh In On SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), Offering Insights & Advice

Finding good information on SARS-CoV-@ (COVID-19) is a hard nut to crack, partially because the subject itself is so complex.  Of the many articles, podcast, and video interviews I have consumed, three interviews with three prominent MDs, offer what I consider to offer some of the best insight and advice with respect to SARS-Cov-2 that I have come across.

The first interview I will link to is an interview that Rhoda Patrick (who hosts the https://www.foundmyfitness.com/ website) conducted with Dr. Roger Seheult (who is the co-creator of MedCram videos, which now have over 80 million video views).  This is the link to their February 3, 2021 interview.   In this two hour interview, Dr. Seheult provides good coverage on the role of Vitamin D mitigating the impact of SARS-CoV-2.  He also discusses the important role sleep plays.  He also discusses the fascinating topic of how, historically, heat treatments have been used to mitigate the impact of viral infections.  Dr. Seheult discusses vaccines, which were new on the scene in early February--he is pro vaccine, and had just received one, but also took the viewpoint of it being understandable for someone to take a "wait and see" posture.  He wraps up the interview suggesting five or six things he feels, if carried out, will best bolster the immune system against SARS-CoV-2.

The second interview I will link to is an interview that Alex Newman (who is a Senior Editor of The New American, an conservative news outlet) conducted with Dr. Lee Merrit (who is a lifelong member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, has served as the President of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, and has also served as a Board Member of the Arizona Medical Association).  Here is a link to the interview.  In this 40 minute interview Dr. Merrit clarifies that in general she is pro-vaccine, but also relates scientific concerns she has coupled with experiences during her career that put her more in the "wait and see" group insofar as taking the vaccine is concerned.  She says that there are always people that want to be the first to try things and is supportive of people who want to "lead out."  She also speaks about supplements she is taking to keep her immune system strong.

The third and final interview I'll provide a link to is an interview that Del Bigtree (who is an American television and film producer as well as CEO of the Informed Consent Action Network) conducted with Doctor Sucharit Bhakdi (who has published over 300 articles on immunology, bacteriology, virology, and parasitology and who teaches courses in immunology to medical students).  In this interview, Doctor Bhakdi states emphatically that he is pro vaccine and also states emphatically that current COVID-19 vaccine effort is a mistake.

Here is a summary of the interview links in this article:

1)  Rhonda Patrick and Dr. Roger Seheult

2) Alex Newman and Dr. Lee Merrit

3) Del Bigtree and Dr. Sucharit Bhakdi
